Human bodies are complex but your health care plan shouldn’t be.
With an extensive background in teaching, education is a huge part of my naturopathic approach to health care.
Naturopathic visits are deliberately long to not only allow me to understand my patients, but also to make sure my patients understand their bodies and their treatment.
This includes education on physiology, hematology, pharmacology, psychology and everything in between.
The first visit is the longest one, with subsequent sessions becoming shorter and more spaced out from the last as health improves.
In-person and remote options
Our office is conveniently located in Markham, Ontario. A collaborative atmosphere for healing and growing. In-person visits are available in cases where in-person care is preferred or required.
Majority of my practice is virtual care, allowing you to access naturopathic medicine from the comfort of your home.
How it works
Initial Consult (75 minutes)
The first visit is 75 minutes and includes an in-depth conversation about your health history, health concerns and review of systems. A physical exam may be indicated. It is always recommended to bring prior lab work or recent food log data if applicable. Your intake and consent form must be completed 24 hours prior to your initial visit time.
Second Visit (60 minutes)
The second visit (first follow-up) is 60 minutes and includes a review of lab work and food logs that were completed if applicable. During this visit, an individualized treatment plan is created for you to start right away. Any information or physical exams that were not completed in the initial consult may be done in this visit.
Follow-Up Visit (30, 45 or 60 minutes)
Subsequent follow ups are designed to check on your progress, response to treatment and monitor outcomes. Follow-up lab work is often completed a few months after the first visit. Follow ups may include a set of acupuncture treatments, metabolic balance program sessions or other treatments depending on goals and progress.
Acute Follow-Up (15 minutes)
Acute follow-up visits are designed for immediate questions or concerns regarding pre-existing treatment plans. They can also be for new issues that have come up in between visits. This visit is applicable for current patients only, not new patients.
